Danny Saucedo
Danny, som hans artistnamn oftast är, heter egentligen Daniel Gabriel Alessandro Saucedo Grzechowski. Han föddes år 1986 i Stockholm, och studerade musik från tidig ålder i och med att han gick i Adolf Fredriks musikklasser. Han blev dock inte känd för svenska folket förrän han deltog i Idol 2006. Trots att Danny inte vann den omgången av Idol (han slogs ut som sjätte finalist) lyckades han bygga vidare på den popularitet han fått via tävlingen, och skapade grunden för en framgångsrik musikkarriär. Hans debutalbum, Heart Beats, släpptes i maj 2007, och toppade då den svenska albumlistan. Även albumets singlar, ”Tokyo”, ”Play It For The Girls” och ”Radio”, gjorde bra ifrån sig, och toppade den svenska singellistan. Sedan dess har Danny släppt ytterligare tre album som soloartist. Danny var under en period även medlem i pojkbandet E.M.D., och tillsammans med den gruppen har han släppt tre album och åtta singlar.
Danny har under sin karriär även deltagit i Melodifestivalen ett flertal gånger. Den första gången gjorde han det som en del av trion E.M.D., som också bestod av Erik Segerstedt och Mattias Andréasson, med låten ”Baby Goodbye”. Gruppen slutade på en tredjeplats i finalen. De ytterligare två gånger som Danny har deltagit i Melodifestivalen (hittills) gjorde han det som soloartist, men var även med och skrev sitt bidrag. År 2011 deltog han med ”In The Club”, och slutade på en andraplats, och 2012 med ”Amazing”, som också slutade på en andraplats. Efter dessa framträdanden blev han också mycket populär hos den yngre publiken, det vill säga barn och ungdomar.
