Linda Pira
Lina Pira är en hiphop-artist som har synts och hörts mycket i Sverige under de senaste åren. Låten Knäpper mina fingrar blev en stor framgång 2015 och de flesta känner nog igen låten från radio och nattklubbar med den plinkande synt-melodin, den tunga basen och det klockrena rappandet från en hel rad kvinnliga hiphop-artister. Låten släpptes ursprungligen 2013 men det var när det gjordes en remix året därpå som den slog igenom på riktigt.
Samarbeten med andra artister
Linda Pira har samarbetat med bland andra artisterna Kumba, Rosh, Kleo, Julia Spada, Rawdas, Vanessa Falk och Joy. I början av sin musikkarriär så rappade hon på artisten Stors album och det var då hon gjorde sig ett namn i musikbranschen. Hon vann ett pris i Grammisgalan 2014 som ”årets nykomling” vilket tilldelas den artist som är i början av sin karriär, har släppt minst två singlar det senaste året samt spås en lovande framtid. Sedan dess har hon vunnit en rad andra priser, däribland ”Årets EP” för skivan Matriarken på Kingsizegalan, ”Årets hiphop/soul” samt ”Årets låt” på P3 Guld-galan samt ”Årets liveframträdande” på Award Awards. Förutom att vinna priser har hon även hunnit med att vara sommarpratare i P1, blivit radiopratare i radiokanalen P3 och medverkat i TV-programmet ”Stjärnornas stjärna”. Linda Pira arbetar med skivbolaget Redline som också har artister som The latin kings och Kartellen. I en intervju i Kingsize magazine säger hon att hon gärna skulle tänka sig att samarbeta med andra stora artister från genres såsom house, något som visat sig vara ett framgångsrikt recept i en del tidigare fall trots att det av vissa ses som ett svek mot hiphopen. Linda ger ett intryck av att vara öppen för att testa på nya saker inom musiken för att utvecklas.

Linda har ofta setts i ganska sportiga kläder och i videon ”Shu katt” bär de medverkande artisterna allt från orientaliska danskläder till sportiga träningsjackor och exklusiva glittriga klänningar. Började på Fryshusets gymnasium
Hon är född 1985 i Hässelby i Stockholm och studerade musikprogrammet på Fryshusets gymnasium. Hon har i dagsläget 15 singlar på Spotify varav en av dessa är den framgångsrika EP:n med det mäktiga namnet Matriarken som var hennes debut-EP. Den senaste singeln heter ”Vem e ni” där hon ger en känga till ryktesspridningen om henne. Låten är producerad av Masse Salazar och den går i en snabb rytm med ett enkelt arrangemang med klockliknande ljud och blåsinstrument. Fokus är på låttexten som framkommer mycket tydligt och har ett högt tempo.
